about the latest release...

A little last one at the end of this year... A little last one that I hesitated for a long time to release, and then I said to myself, it's just good to punctuate the cycle! An unpretentious release for which we'll see the result! Who will be interested or not, who will deign to listen to it! Anyway, I'm a bit tired of the current codes, of communicating in a vacuum, of spending time in front of the screen on social networks... My goal is to have fun making my music in my corner, headphones on... not to play the teaser or "public crier" to increase the audience... and then apart from the restricted circle with whom I share genuine affinities, we can't say that the so-called "social" networks are the panacea... I'm well aware of the stakes involved, I also know that it's not uncommon for the media to push in the direction of futility, thundering visuals and other stratagems to hook the listener, or to pay to be at the top of the list... But I don't want to be a "whore" or to pay to get more audience! No thanks! If I had the budget, I wouldn't want to support a system that I define as perverse! Too bad if my productions are drowned in the mass! Social networks to be exposed to the greatest number of people.... OK, but well... in the meantime... promoting yourself independently is not well seen, serious exchange groups don't want to be flooded (I understand that!), the "social circles" don't want to be flooded, the "circles of friends/contacts" on FB are not always really concerned (we understand them too), we are all, every day, over-solicited by a whole bunch of information and bullshit too... so it becomes difficult to sort out, to listen attentively and with interest when we are bombarded by productions and publications of all kinds... And then, I also know that some people get tired, or even don't appreciate being identified on publications... So, for this release, I decided not to bother you by identifying you... well aware that your centers of interest are different from mine... However, it must be recognized that it is now very difficult to build a small community, a network, a sounding board without falling into the excesses of a marketing and communication for which only the "sensational" aspect counts in the end... Personally, I don't care if "the business is profitable or not..." of course it would be better if it was the case... but let's not delude ourselves, nor fantasize, the platforms only make money on the back of the artists, the digital is not a source of income for the electronic music tinkerers, who are independent... and then, as far as I'm concerned, the goal is not to reach the greatest number of people, it's just to do my thing in my corner... and especially to be able to communicate with (not "fans") but those who are interested in a global approach... for a project, for the human being behind it...
