#nms303 / 2 years experience...
- Starting point: undertake & develop a self-taught learning process with the means at hand...

- Operating mode: free electron, autarky, freedom, independence, autonomy...
🔹Technical support: my last investment dates back to 2006! At that time a MacBook, a Novation Remote SL37 keyboard, a Sony stereo headset (MDR-7506) in the meantime patched up many times and a Reason 3.0 in its basic 2005 version (no extensions or upgrades). As far as I'm concerned, it suits me very well! Because, even if it's far from the current standards, it's more than enough to learn while having fun! And then it's mostly the state of mind of the project, the idea being to explore and experiment from where I left off at the dawn of the 2000s!
🔹Digital distribution: I could have simply opted (paid) for the classic solutions available online to neophytes and other "self-producers..." Maybe it would have been easier... However, philosophically attached to the principle of an independence at "lower costs", my motivation was to elaborate a compromise between autonomy and low budget in order to access digital platforms. Of course, by bypassing the customs and habits in place, thus not submitting to the practices of the sector, one finds oneself largely submerged by the mass and the priority interests of the returns... In short, under the name independent label, the strategy was clear: concede as little as possible to the multiple intermediaries, to proceed at my own pace while keeping the hand on the whole of the components of a modest artisanal and experimental production process. In short, to do my thing in my corner, while being totally insensitive to the "siren songs of a music industry version 2.0..." So, relying only on myself, no matter the return on investment or the audience...
🔹Promotion: not having the budget, nor the desire to play the game of traditional channels, intermediaries, bidding and multiple subscriptions supposed to offer a better "sounding board", not having any connection with the scene, the "word of mouth" of social networks is my only space of exposure... However, building everything from nothing has something exhilarating! Additional difficulty: without flooding the networks with redundant publications in addition to a gigantic mass considerably reducing the visibility, to manage to subsist in the landscape without pretending to anything else than the sharing of a personal experience after 25 years of electronic musical hibernation... In short, "to play cards on the table" in all transparency and to continue humbly my road are my leitmotiv!
