Autonomy & freedom...

In "free electron mode!" (LOL) Logical choice for those who like to do things autonomously at their own pace, proceeding by trial and error as a serene learning mode. A principle, a way of doing things, a "dynamic" thought out beforehand, approaching the complexity of a development process and its stages in "self-taught" mode… To carry out things without external help generating certainly satisfaction, this choice is in the middle of a personal step aiming at the whole of the aspects, disciplines, tools and methods which make it possible to a novice as regards musical production started from nothing to build himself step by step an identity and an evolutionary artistic life…

Because, just as everyday life is quite an adventure (https://www.nms303.com/post/adventure), so is the electronic journey I took in May 2020, where I had left it 25 years earlier! An adventure consciously undertaken in "autarky!" (LOL) Admittedly, the term may be a bit strong, nonetheless it testifies to the premeditated desire to undertake the journey without assistance or at least with as little assistance as possible! Just like one of those crazy sailors who sets out to row the oceans! Never sure of arriving in port, but holding on despite the hazards and damage! Calm sea or rough sea, only one motto: never lose the course! (LOL) My course is to respect my line of conduct, my roadmap, the starting postulates which circumscribed the whole NéMéSiS-303 project. Concretely, even if I have already expressed myself many times on this subject, by betting on the concept of happy sobriety as a model that is both "ecological" in the sense of the ecosystem in place and "economic" in order not to fall into the shortcomings of an environment and a music industry for which the artistic aspect always takes second place… In other words, I simply don't want to submit to the dictates in place and therefore work in my corner without making waves in the realization of my projects without investing more than the strict minimum and without burning the stages! (It's not all about promoting yourself with a lot of lobbying or having a nice video that circulates on the networks, Instagram, Tik-Tok and others… It's also important that the costs of pre and post-production don't explode! (LOL)) In short, the strict minimum is fine for me: a website, basic equipment, one or two subscriptions, all while avoiding being "phished" by the numerous solicitations of the Web industries that make the mass of "neo-artists" hoping to pass the cape of the isolated unknown…

As far as I'm concerned, being known or recognized is not part of my plans, to subsist and develop my approach are enough for me to be happy! I have established a framework for my work. I invest myself with passion with the aim of perpetuating the adventure. I set the milestones of my journey myself. I try to organize my communication and decide freely on the path to follow and its pace! (LOL) I go at my own pace, I go through the steps one by one, I feed myself and try to learn how to do better whether it is sound, image or content. I don't pretend to anything, I only rely on myself and on what I can produce from a standard configuration voluntarily restricted and not updated! A radical choice that gives meaning to what I undertake with my little hands by building "brick by brick!" (LOL) If the structure in place holds and it allows me to develop in my corner I am already very happy! If the minimum return on investment is there, so much the better, and if not, as long as I can make ends meet and assume, I continue...
